Samir Pace, 24, of the 3300 block of Brandywine Street in Philadelphia, faces multiple felony charges of receiving stolen property, according to police.

On April 15 at 12:52 p.m., a police officer from the Abington Police Department was on patrol in the area of the 800 block of Old York Road when he observed a 2006 Toyota Solara traveling northbound.

A check of the National Crime Information Center revealed that the vehicle was stolen out of Philadelphia. The officer activated his emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop in the parking lot of Petsmart, 907 Old York Road, in the Jenkintown section of Abington Township.

Pace failed to provide any legal ownership of the vehicle and was placed under arrest. It was also discovered that Pace was operating the vehicle with a suspended license.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
