State representatives are coming together in an effort to connect older adults, caregivers, and their families with vital resources, services, and information to support healthy and independent living.
State Reps. Melissa Cerrato, Nancy Guenst, and Ben Sanchez will host a Senior Fair on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. at Operating Engineers Local 542, located at 1375 Virginia Drive in Fort Washington.
These fairs typically feature information on health care, nutrition, transportation, identity theft protection, and more. Additionally, various vaccines, including COVID-19 boosters, pneumonia, flu, shingles, TDAP, and Hepatitis B, have been offered at past events.
For example, a Senior Resource Fair was held on May 10, 2024 at the Operating Engineers Local 542 in Fort Washington. This event was organized by Reps. Cerrato, Guenst, and Sanchez, in collaboration with organizations like Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Horsham Pharmacy, which provided COVID vaccine boosters.
Another example is Rep. Cerrato's Second Annual Senior Fair, which took place on September 6, 2024 at the Horsham Community Center. This event focused on services and information related to senior living and well-being.
These fairs are part of the legislators' ongoing efforts to support the senior community by connecting them with valuable resources and services.
