Trash can fire spreads to walls of home, multiple people evacuated, reports say

A fire that started in a trash can spread to the walls of a home on the 600 block of Lakevue Drive in Upper Moreland on Thursday night at 8:42 p.m., according to Montgomery County dispatch.

All occupants have been excavated and the fire has been knocked down, according to reports.

The Fire Chief reported visual fire upon arrival, according to reports.

Emergency crews the Upper Moreland Fire Department, Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro, and Roslyn Fire Company are on scene. 

Expect traffic delays in the area of the York Road and Terwood Road.
