Man steals nearly $1,000 worth of goods from Rally House in Willow Grove

Roy Bowman, 57, of the 2400 block of Hartell Avenue in Philadelphia, faces felony charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.

On April 6 at 6:52 p.m., the Abington Police Department was dispatched to Rally House, 2520 Moreland Road, near the Willow Grove Mall, after an employee reported that a man stole items from the store, according to police. 

An employee stated that he saw Bowman select items and concealed the merchandise inside his jacket. Bowman then passed all final points of sale without attempting to pay.

The stolen merchandise totaled $914.88. 

The individual items taken were not reported.
