A Willow Grove woman accused of stabbing man in thigh with kitchen knife in parking lot, police say

A Willow Grove woman has been charged with felony aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing a man with a kitchen knife in the leg behind a Lyft ride and then leaving the bloody weapon in the Lyft vehicle in Bucks County.

Minerva Perez-Ramos, 34, of the 60^th block of North York Road, was charged Saturday by Warminster Township Police with the felony, as well as four misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, and misdemeanor charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct by making unreasonable noise, and possessing an instrument of crime, according to charging documents.

Perez-Ramos remains jailed at Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $100,000 cash bail, per court documents.

On Friday, at 8:42 p.m., police were met by a Lyft driver at headquarters who reported she found a bloody knife in her vehicle following an incident that she witnessed at Madison Court Apartments on Madison Avenue, police said.

The driver told police that she went to pickup a passenger at 7:30 p.m. Friday, who police allege as Perez-Ramos, who exited an apartment building with a man, and began loading belongings into the rear hatch of the Lyft car, per the complaint.

Police said the driver, via the rear view mirror, noticed Perez-Ramos having a physical fight with the man, and making aggressive motions that resembled stabbing toward the victim.

Perez-Ramos, police allege, ran back into the rear passenger seat of the Lyft ride, and the driver told her to get out of the car and that the ride was cancelled.

After picking up another passenger, the driver was made aware that a bloody kitchen knife was located in the backseat, police said.

Police said the knife was a kitchen knife with a 3-inch blade and a plastic handle, with blood on the blade.

At 8:45 p.m., Bucks County emergency radio advised police of a phone call from Abington Police referencing a victim at Holy Redeemer Hospital, police said.

Police met the victim at the hospital, who told them he was stabbed in the right thigh at the apartment complex by Perez-Ramos, police said.

The victim, after being discharged from the hospital, was interviewed by detectives, who told them the defendant was at his apartment to retrieve items, police said. He called Perez-Ramos a Lyft, while also calling two friends to pick him up, per the complaint.

A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. before Magisterial District Judge Christopher O’Neill.

Police said the friends arrived at the same time as the Lyft ride. Perez-Ramos, police allege, began to approach the friends’ vehicle and started to yell at them and attempted to open the door handle of the car.

When the victim told Perez-Ramos to stop, she allegedly stabbed him in the right thigh. The victim suffered a laceration that requires stiches, police said.

According to the complaint, Perez-Ramos messaged the victim, stating she was sorry.

The friends of the victim told police that Perez-Ramos had a knife in her hand, while approaching their car in the apartment parking lot, yelling, “I will kill you all,” police said.
