Volunteers are always welcome to help bring fun to the local community.
Each year, the Jenkintown Borough is privy to an assortment of fun events, just for its residents. Not all small municipalities can say that, but thanks to a team of volunteers, the Jenkintown Rec Board brings the fun to our community.
Operated entirely with volunteer efforts, the Jenkintown Rec Board consists of three volunteer board members: Pam Lynch (chairwoman), Alex Bartlett, and Daniel Veres. These are the helping hands behind the borough’s events, such have included:
and many other exciting events.
The trio is always looking for others that want to participate in future events.
“We welcome any and all participation from our residents,” said the Rec Board’s site. “If you’re interested in joining the fun, contact Pam Lynch.”

“Rec Board events are a great way to get to know your neighbors and to reconnect with old friends,” said the group’s website, where you can also sign up for Borough newsletters which frequently include the Rec Board’s events.
