A man out on parole is headed back to prison after a “horrific” assault on his ex-girlfriend in her Cheltenham Township home.

According to a report from Carl Hessler Jr. in The Reporter, Taaqi Khaliyl “Fame” Brown, 36, of the 3600 block of Red Lion Road in Philadelphia, is facing seven to 14 more years in a state correctional facility after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of burglary while threatening to commit bodily injury and strangulation stemming from an incident in March.

According to reports, Montgomery County Court’s accepted a plea agreement in the case, which also included 10 years of probation consecutive to parole, meaning Brown will remain under court supervision for a total of 24 years, Hessler said.

Police said that Brown forced his way into the woman’s home, bound her with zip ties, and threatened her at gunpoint. Hessler reported that Brown had previously served more than a decade in prison for a third-degree murder related to a 2009 fatal shooting of a man in Upper Darby, Delaware County.
