Maybe you’ve seen her sparkle on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” or perhaps you got the chance to see her take the stage as Edna Turnblad in “Hairspray.” Wherever you’ve seen her stunning performances, you’re in luck on Nov. 18 as she takes to a far more local stage.
Nina West, the famed drag performer, will bring Murray & Peter present “A Drag Queen Christmas” to The Keswick Theatre in Glenside with its stop on Nov. 18, according to a report in the Philadelphia Gay News by Michael Cook. West plays the host of the production, which features a variety of well-known stars.
West, who told Cook some of her dream roles include playing Miss Hannigan in “Annie” or King George in “Hamilton,” will be the star of the 10th anniversary tour of the production, which plays at 8 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the Keswick Theatre, 291 N. Keswick Ave., in Glenside. In its decade-long schedule, the production is the “longest running drag tour in America.”
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online here. Doors will open at 7 p.m. VIP packages are available for a special Meet and Greet, which begins at 6 p.m. The show is for those ages 18 and over.
