Tonight is the night. There will be gaming and prizes. There will be dancing and great socialization. And, at the end of the day, it all goes to support Abington students!
The Abington Educational Foundation (AEF) presents tonight a “Night at the Casino” fundraising event. For a cost of $70 per person, entry includes beer, wine, and light fare along with $50 in “chips” to play the night’s games. The event will be held at The Abington Club, 300 Meetinghouse Road in Jenkintown. The evening’s festivities will run from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.
The proceeds for the night will go toward the AEF, which has a mission to “enhance educational experiences and outcomes for Abington School District students.” The nonprofit organization works to provide grants that “support student achievement, innovative programs, and STEAM initiatives.”
Casino-like games will be provided, and you won’t have to be an expert to play. Guides are provided to help you as they deal. From blackjack and craps, to roulette, there will be an assortment of fun entertainment.
Some of the available prizes include weekend getaways, dinner and theater packages, ASD experiences, and “much more.”
