After its inaugural year’s success, one church in Abington is all set to repeat its festive celebration.

The Salem Baptist Church of Abington is hosting its second annual Winter Family Village at Salem. The outdoor, winter-themed event is held on just one day of the year, and this year’s will be Saturday, Dec. 7 from 1 to 7 p.m.

With a focused slogan of “Health Families Build a Healthy Community,” the church will play feature music, kids’ amusements, vendors, and Santa’s Workshop on its grounds. Don’t miss out on pictures with Santa, too.

Small businesses will be featured in vendor booths, and food trucks have been invited to sell tasty treats for purchase. The highlight, a Live Nativity Scene, will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

“Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and festive event for the entire family,” said the Church’s Facebook page.

Fun events are planned for all age groups, so that the whole family can enjoy the day out. Celebrating the season with loved ones is the main goal for the church’s function.

For more information, or to be a food or vendor, please email [email protected]. Salem Baptist Church is located at 2741 Woodland Road in Roslyn. Tickets (at no charge) are currently listed on Event Brite here. Tickets and wristbands for amusements will be available for purchase at the event.
